Prof. David H. Lorenz

David H. Lorenz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Open University of Israel, and a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science, Technion—Israel Institute of Technology. His research interests are primarily focused on aspect-oriented and language-oriented software engineering, modularity, and programming, particularly involving domain specific languages. He currently serves as the Academic Director of the CS Graduate Program, the SE Program, and the CS/SE Excellence Program

He is the former chair of the AOSA, a non-profit organization that sponsors annual conferences such as the International Conference on Aspect-Oriented Software Development; the International Conference on Modularity; and the International Conference on the Art, Science, and Engineering of Programming.
