Dr. Omrit Filtser

Omrit Filtser is a lecturer of computer science. Her research interest is in discrete and computational geometry, focusing on geometric optimization problems, trajectory analysis, similarity of curves and other geometric objects, data structures and algorithms.

Dr. Dror Fried

Dror Fried is a senior lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Open University of Israel. He is interested in logic in computer science, specifically topics in formal methods and in automated reasoning.

Prof. Rica Gonen

Rica Gonen is an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. Her scientific interests include Computational Game Theory and Computational Social Choice focusing on general multi-sided markets design, fair division algorithms, ride-sharing problems, deep learning and games and other AI related challenges.

Prof. David H. Lorenz

David H. Lorenz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Open University of Israel, and a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science, Technion—Israel Institute of Technology. His research interests are primarily focused on aspect-oriented and language-oriented software engineering, modularity, and programming, particularly involving domain specific languages. He currently serves as the Academic Director of the CS Graduate Program, the SE Program, and the CS/SE Excellence Program. 

He is the former chair of the AOSA, a non-profit organization that sponsors annual conferences such as the International Conference on Aspect-Oriented Software Development; the International Conference on Modularity; and the International Conference on the Art, Science, and Engineering of Programming.

Prof. Tamir Tassa

Tamir Tassa is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. His current research interests include secure multiparty computation, privacy-preserving machine learning and privacy-preserving data mining.
